Welcome to The Shelby Street Pentecostal Lighthouse.

If you have been searching for a Bible Believing, Bible Preaching, Spirit filled church, then please join us for one of our services.  

Since October, 1976, Shelby St. Pentecostal Lighthouse has been shining the Light of Truth across the city and across the world. Though modern churches have adjusted their message to modern times, we still believe that the King James Version of the Bible plainly tells us to be:
1. Saved by Grace through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  
2. Sanctified and set apart for His use and His glory.
3. Filled with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.
4. Take the Good news to all the world

God has put His approval on the work here and we have seen His hand at work over the years as many of these things have been brought to fruition.

Of course, our primary goal is to be an instrument in God's hand and vessels for the expansion of His kingdom in spreading the full Gospel in presenting an opportunity for people to come to the knowledge of the truth and to experience Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.

If you are looking for a church that believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, or seeking an opportunity to worship Him in spirit and truth, or searching for a place to raise your family, please feel free to come as a visitor and leave as part of the family.
